Those living with complex and persistent pain conditions—like EDS, post-concussive syndrome, central sensitization, POTS, MCAS, EBV, long-covid, neurodegenerative conditions, and stress or trauma-based tension—require care that is both skillful and intuitive. I specialize in this kind of care. Together, we co-create a process that is deeply individualized, respecting your thresholds and your story, patient in the frustrating stages of learning, and celebrating increased tolerance for activity. I will be with you when you're in the frustrating "it may get worse before it gets better" stage as patient, experienced guide. And I will help you navigate exciting, but sometimes scary, new stages of ability and capacity safely, carefully challenging you to reach new levels while avoiding a flare up that can happen from doing too much too soon too quickly.
I will help you find ease and flow in movement again. Not by pushing through pain, but by cultivating a felt sense of support, stability, and presence. Progress, here, is measured not just in range of motion, but in the return of easefulness movement; not just in strength, but in the capacity to generate control and power. Muscles are rarely “tight” – they typically don’t know how, or don’t feel supported enough, to lengthen. And pain is rarely rooted where you feel it – often the pain you feel is in an area that has lost its ability to cope for drivers from other regions or systems in the body. Relearning how to move with ease and without pain requires working from the inside out, teaching your deep stability system to keep joints centered and balanced, allowing you to generate more efficient and powerful movement around specific joints and within regions of the body.
I honor the intelligence of your body, even in pain. Your body is not broken—it is likely working hard to protect you. When we include the nervous system in the process—not as an obstacle, but as a wise participant—healing becomes more sustainable. Through attuned evaluation and body-centered manual therapies, we will create a space together where your body can feel safe enough to let go, reorganize, and move forward.
